At Pennie’s Pals, we’re committed to supporting you through perimenopause with resources you can trust. We understand life can shift unexpectedly, so here’s our refund policy for annual membership plans to ensure clarity and fairness.
1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
What It Covers: If you’re not satisfied with your annual membership for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date.
How It Works: Contact us at hello@penniecompanion.com with your membership details. Once approved, we’ll process your refund within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.
Conditions: This applies only to new members on their first annual plan. Access to digital resources (e.g., downloads, webinars) must not exceed reasonable preview use (e.g., downloading everything immediately voids eligibility).
Why It’s Fair: Gives members a two-week trial to explore features (like the resource library or community) without risk—crucial for perimenopause, where needs can feel urgent but uncertain. It builds trust while limiting abuse.
2. Pro-Rated Refunds (After 14 Days)
What It Covers: After the 14-day window, you can cancel your annual membership and receive a pro-rated refund for the unused months, minus a small processing fee.

We calculate the refund based on full months remaining (e.g., if you cancel after 4 months, you’re refunded for 8 months).
A $75 processing fee is deducted to cover administrative, payment processing costs and initial setup.

Conditions: Available only for significant reasons (e.g., medical inability to participate, dissatisfaction with major service changes). Not applicable if you’ve used premium features extensively (e.g., coaching sessions or product boxes fully redeemed).
Why It’s Fair: Perimenopause can bring sudden health or financial shifts (e.g., new diagnoses or job loss). This offers an exit ramp while ensuring Pennie’s Pals is compensated for delivered value and can reinvest in the community we’re aiming to serve.
3. No Refunds After 6 Months
What It Covers: No refunds are issued if you cancel after 6 months of your annual plan have passed.
How It Works: Your membership continues until the year ends, giving you full access to all benefits until then.
Conditions: Applies regardless of usage level—whether you’ve engaged minimally or fully.
Why It’s Fair: By the halfway mark, you’ve had ample time to assess value (e.g., webinars, forums, tools), and we’ve committed resources to your year-long support. It protects the business while encouraging members to maximize their plan. We’re all about ownership and accountability on our journeys.
4. Exceptions for Extenuating Circumstances
What It Covers: We may offer partial or full refunds beyond standard terms for exceptional cases (e.g., severe illness, death of the member, or our failure to deliver promised services).
How It Works: Submit a request with documentation (e.g., medical note) to hello@penniecompanion.com. Reviewed case-by-case, with decisions within 14 days.

5. Non-Refundable Items
What It Covers: Tangible perks (e.g., product boxes in Elite tiers or add-ons) including one-time bonuses or gifts are non-refundable once shipped or granted.
How It Works: Refund calculations exclude their value (e.g., a $50 product box reduces your refund amount if already received).
Why It’s Fair: Physical goods and unique perks have fixed costs we can’t recover, but you retain their benefit even if you cancel.
General Notes
Cancellation: You can stop auto-renewal anytime via your account settings, but this doesn’t trigger a refund for the current year unless above conditions apply.
Processing Time: All refunds take 7-10+ business days, subject to payment provider delays.
